At Wayuco, we take the environment and the way our garments are processed very seriously. This is why our t-shirts are made with Certified Organic Cotton.

The Organic Cotton with which our t-shirts are made is grown and processed with the utmost respect for the environment and the local suppliers who process it. Cotton is grown without resorting to chemical insecticides, fertilizers or pesticides, with methods that do not harm people, animals and the environment. This prevents toxic or dangerous substances from being incorporated into the soil, rivers or adjacent lakes, ensuring a healthy environment for farmers and superior quality cotton.

Becouse things can be done in so many ways, but only a few make a difference.

Certifications

The production of our garments is certified by the highest ethical and environmental standards for the textile field:

 • GOTS – Global Organic Textile Standard ensures compliance with quality, environmental and social standards throughout the production chain

• OCS – Organic Content Standard certifies textile products made with natural fibres from organic farming

• OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certifies the absence of harmful chemicals

• PETA – Vegan certification certifies that no animal testing is done for ingredients, formulations or finished products

The factories where the garments are made meet the strictest safety criteria for the working conditions of the workers, according to the guidelines of the Fair Wear Foundation, of which our suppliers are recognized members.
